Unit 4. Collaboration in eTwinnings

Peer assessment activity (P2P): Designing an e-activity to add to the project.

This is the challenge for this week: "Design an ICT activity which is part of the collaborative project you expect to launch in the future and that involves real collaboration, thereby obtaining a tangible and measurable end result that is directly related to the project you are planning and developing. "

The e-actility I want to design for the draft project I posted last week is a "Kahoot!" made collaboratively by children of two or three partner schools that will be sent to another partner school to be played by children after watching the presentations about partner school’s countries.

  • Children of school “A” prepare a "Kahoot!" about their country with about 10 questions related to the topics presented in the previous presentations (i.e. flag, famous monuments, famous artists, famous historical figures, typical dishes…). They add pictures to each question.

  • They share the “Kahoot!” with children of school “B” that duplicate it and add 10 questions about their country. They re-order the questions so that questions are mixed. They share the “kahoot!” with children of school C.
  • Children of school C play the “Kahoot!” and prepare a short video made while they are playing it that can be published on Youtube and Embedded to the game to be displayed in the background of the lobby screen as players join the game.

Of course if more than three schools are involved in the project can be created a “Kahoot” made by more partner schools.
